Second Cook
Purpose:
Your preparation and presentation of food paints a picture of Redrock’s high quality food service. It is your job to prepare fresh fruit, vegetables, salads and snacks and to assist the 1st Cook.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare fresh food each day and work hard to create a spread that appeals to both the eyes and the taste buds
- Ensure lots of variety with your salads, fruit, vegetables and snacks
- Assist the 1st Cook at their direction and report to them throughout your shift
- Make cleanliness and safety a priority and do your part to keep our operations clean and organized
- In a small camp, washing the dishes is part of your role. In a larger camp help out whenever you have an opportunity
- Perform weekly inventory of food and cleaning supplies
- Unload all grocery orders with the help of the kitchen team
