Safety

Safety First. Always.

At Redrock, the safety of our team and our guests is our number one priority. After years of building our safety program, we have achieved the highest industry safety rating available with ISNetworld ("A, Superior") and continue to hold our Certificate of Recognition (COR).  Our safety protocols include camp orientations, weekly safety meetings and reporting programs, as well as extensive certifications for our staff.

Communication

At Redrock we believe that a safety system has to be based on open communication about hazards, incidents and near misses. With the help of E-Colours software we identify different personality styles in our business to better our communications from tailgate meetings to boardroom challenges. We encourage our staff to report safety hazards if and when they discover them. We also believe that any good safety program is based on experience, learning from mistakes and proper reporting of unsafe conditions. Our staff is encouraged to use Stop Work Authority when they think there is an unsafe working condition.

Training

New employees at Redrock participate in a training program that ensures all staff are trained on 22 safety modules and have proven their understanding of everything from Slips, Trips and Falls and Incident Reporting to Fuel Transfer and Emergency Procedures. Food Safe and First Aid Training programs are important to us and we provide courses for our staff. We make sure our people know how to work safe and react to unsafe procedures before they go out in the field.
